Conference 2015: Thanks to participants

The SNIH board wants to thank YOU for participating in the 2nd SNIH Conference and making it a success!  

We look back at the 2nd SNIH conference on 20-21 November 2015 in Karolinska Institute and are overwhelmed by your interest, contributions, and enthusiasm. On behalf of the SNIH board we thank you for your participation and input.

With 170 participants from 45 nations on-site and more online, numerous tweets referring to #SNIHEquity, and much coverage in the social media we had a great audience.

This unique gathering of students and alumni across Nordic countries highlighted the health inequity challenges and facing our generation, and how these challenges can be addressed as we progress in our careers. We encourage you all to continue the important task of turning words into action, to reach a world without inequalities. We are looking forward to hear how discussions and reflections stemming from the SNIH Conference turns into vital transformation and tangible results.  

The two-day conference helped us to strengthen our knowledge in the area of factfulness, ethics, leadership and influential research. Thank you for joining the discussions during the keynote speeches, panels, workshops and networking sessions.

Along with this, the SNIH Board would also like to thank all of the keynote speakers and panelists! All of us in the SNIH Board feel privileged for your chose of contributing with your great knowledge and experience within the field. In the SNIH board, based on the innovative ideas shared in lively discussions during and in-between the sessions, we have already started drafting our plans and projects for next year.
